Always was always will be Naidoc 2020

This artwork represents the history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and culture and portrays an image that reflects how we have occupied this land for Millenia. 

This occupation also encompasses the ways in which our knowledge and lore has been ever prevalent and still prevalent today. This always was and always will be country whereby the traditional custodians the Indigenous people of this country are the original inhabitants of this land. 

Our tracks remain engrained throughout the nation. 

With pride and resilience, our stories have been passed down and told from our ancestors and old people, to our future generations today. 

It is time for this nation to acknowledge the past, respect our existence and for us to collectively and respectfully gain 120,000 years of history together as a country.
